Mawsley Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 Anybody been? After my failed bucket-list attempt to go to next year's Island, I got to thinking what else I could do. I know, I said to myself, Mawsley to Marrakesh on the XT.Do I really need a large tank? Do I really need stronger fork springs? I'm kinda thinking it's all a bit overkill if you aren't doing the Paris-Dakar. But then I don't want to be the bike equivalent of Jade Goody running the London marathon after eating a curry. Quote

I've done Mawsley to Portugal on a bog standard XT, Marrakesh is only a boat ride and another couple of days further. If your worried about fuel, make yourself a bracket and strap on a fuel can somewhere. If you think your fork springs aren't good enough, ride slower over the rough stuff. Quote
