Leatherhead Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Hi all,My friend rode our bike dry and killed the fuel pump so we decided to replace it along with the filter. Prior to doing anywork the starter button worked (could here it having a go) but nothing would happen. So we replaced the pump (it was glorious to hear it priming when we turned on the ignition) and put the bike back together. When it came to the big moment we pulled in the clutch, pressed the button and .... nothing (the disappointment was palpable). neither the starter motor, nor horn seem to have any power being supplied to them. Baffled I took it apart, looking for loose wires, or a bad job of re wiring the fuel pump but all seemed normal according to the pics I had taken.Any ideas???Cheers. I should note aside from changing the oil and batt (3 months ago) this is the most DIY I've done to the bike.Bike is a 2009 fuel injected YBR 125 Quote
megawatt Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 You may have blown a fuse or the battery may have lost voltage or there's a bad connection somewhere. Quote
