Guest Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 Bought a macna jacket, it has mesh panels and some nighteye material. The nighteye parts seem very stiff, when I bend me arms or pokes me in the forearms which is moderately annoying at home and I should imagine bloody annoying on s long ride. Does anyone know if the material softens up with s bit of use? Quote
Gerontious Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 its glass. apparently 'microscopic glass beads' but together as a 'sheet' Im not all that surprised that it would be stiff.. its likely due to the glass, and whatever that has been bonded to plus what adhesive they have used.whether it will become more pliable.. is something you will have to find out for yourself. its a fairly novel idea. compared to the old favourite Scotchlite. Guest Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 Not sure I want to find out, would rather send back for a full refund. It's generally ok just creases at a point in the forearm near the inside of the elbow and pokes there. Reviews of their jackets are generally favourable so maybe it's just me. Quote
