Has anyone on here bought any of the widely available non OE ignition switches and had any problems? The reason I ask is that I've had several supplied for my sons 1989 TS50X and they've all had the same fault, in that with the key in position "C" they don't illuminate the oil or neutral lamps. On checking with a meter using the wiring diagram they have no continuity between the orange and red wire terminals in position "C" or "IGN" meaning the oil lamp will never illuminate.
