MarkW Posted November 18, 2018 Posted November 18, 2018 Morning all!I'm toying with the idea of upgrading my old Zoom R24 for an audio interface and laptop approach to recording acoustic drums with multiple (>12) inputs, and am looking for a bit of advice on suitable approaches. Before I post a load of tedious questions is there anyone on here who could help?Ta! Quote
MarkW Posted November 19, 2018 Author Posted November 19, 2018 OK, that's it - I've had it with this place, and I'm leaving. What's the point of being on a motorbike forum if you can't even get advice on studio recording techniques?Bloody useless, the lot of you. Quote
Guest Posted November 19, 2018 Posted November 19, 2018 My degree was audio-technology (sound recording. Acoustics, speaker design etc). Unfortunately that was twenty odd years ago and whilst I passed I did spend most of those years in various altered states of consciousness so I can tell you very little. Helpful eh. Quote

raesewell Posted November 19, 2018 Posted November 19, 2018 As an ex BMW owner I now have my patience back Quote
Wrenchmonkey Posted November 19, 2018 Posted November 19, 2018 I used to work in a recording studio a few years ago until I had to start earning real money. I still produce music and work in and out of a couple studios from time to time. Happy to help if I can, drop me pm if it’s easier. Quote
