Phone apps GPS locators

Hello folks, I am about to start riding again and obviously bike theft security is a must. So I am looking for advice on what devices are available/best that use an Android phone app. The bike will spend most of it's time at home in a drive, so peace of mind while I'm at work will be fab! (Based in Inverclyde).

I bought one of these for the van.

No subscription, you just put a sim card in it (I got an O2 pay as you go £10) the data will quite literally last a life time 1p=1mb. It has an app that is like Google maps and it updates it's position every 5mins. It's very accurate even works under the bonnet.

Current drain is about 26ma pulsing very briefly up to 50ma every 5 mins when it transmits its position.
