Guest Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 I've got the std paddock stand (rear) that the swingarm sits on. Works OK for the RS125 but not sure about using it for the kwak. What do you guys use? Thanks Quote
Stu Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 it will be ok for the kwak if it falls off it doesnt matter as its only a kwak ive got 3 different rear stands and one front stand i have one that the swingarm sits on and has also got the hooks for the bobbins that go into the swing arm so i put the hooks on and slide a metal bar through the rear wheel spindle much easier i have also got one like a abba stand that lifts the bike up from the swing arm pivot so theres no weight on the swing arm and i have one that lifts the bike up by the foot rests too so can remove swing arm if i needed too 8) front one sits under the bottm of the forks i need a few different front ones now Quote

Guest Posted June 9, 2007 Posted June 9, 2007 There was a good review of paddock stands in Ride recently - well 2 to be precise, one article covered rear paddock stands, and in a seperate issue they covered front stands ....Highest score went to some stainless steel stands ...I can dig the article out if anyone wants details ...Yeh ... I'm an anorak Quote
Guest Posted June 13, 2007 Posted June 13, 2007 yeah those ride articles were good. ive got the cheapo ones i got from somewhere online. they are in the ride test, cheapest ones in each test i think but im dammed if i can remember the name.rear one is great, front one the sticky out bits for the forks to sit on are a bit far apart so my forks almost fall through.thats on a RF600 btw, on the bonnie never tried the front but the rear works fine.
