Standard for "full zip?

Is there a standard for the zip that fixes jackets to trousers? I see full zip and half zip but is that manufacturer specific? Could I buy an Oxford jacket and Richa trousers?

In a word, no. manufacturers use different types of zips. Although they do normally come with the mating half to sew to another brand.
