Pbassred Posted January 15, 2020 Posted January 15, 2020 I'm just about to pick up a Bagster tank cover (Ebay). Other than actual Bagster tank bags, does anyone have any other creative options? Quote
elwon20 Posted January 17, 2020 Posted January 17, 2020 I always just used a rucksack when I had a Bagster tank cover. But if you have the budget I can highly recommend Kriega products. On a side note, be very aware of dust/grit/sand building up under the cover and wearing down your paint. I always thought my Bagster tank cover would help protect my paintwork, quite the opposite unless you remove it and clean it all out on a very regular basis. Quote
Pbassred Posted January 18, 2020 Author Posted January 18, 2020 Yeah. I have thought about putting tape over the key rubbing areas of the tank and sitting the cover over that. Quote
Gerontious Posted January 18, 2020 Posted January 18, 2020 The trick to making the covers maintenance free, is to fit adhesive soft rubber/neoprene tape around the edges of the cover to provide a seal. Quote
