dern Posted March 28, 2020 Posted March 28, 2020 Does cold weather make much, of any difference to valve clearances? Checked mine today and they’re all a bit tight. Normally wouldn’t do this until it got warm but we’re in lock down and I was bored. This is a 2014 KTM 1190 adventure s. Front exhaust are .23 & .20Rear exhaust are .23 & .25They should be .25 to .30Front intake are .10 & .10Rear intake are .08 & .08They should be .10 to .15Manual gives values at 20deg and it’s about 5 to 10 degrees today. Bike has done about 24k Miles. They’re not miles out except for that one exhaust valve.CheersMark Quote
