Admin Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 The 2021 Yamaha MT-09 SP is the bLU cRU’s up-spec middleweight hyper-naked, utilizing top-shelf Öhlins and KYB suspension components, an added cruise control function, and a premium YZF-R1M-inspired colorway. Trick stuff that adds to its performance and versatility, as noted in our first ride review. Along with the base-model MT-09 and the Tracer 9 GT sport-tourer, the SP is powered by Yamaha’s all-new liquid-cooled DOHC inline-triple CP3 engine. The big news for the powerplant is a displacement increase from 847cc to 890cc, aiming to meet tightening emissions while maintaining performance.
