queen bodecia Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 Can I just point out this is Dorna's decision not necessarily BBC's. BBC were going to continue their motoGP coverage no matter what Dorna's decision regarding Eurosport was. Dorna have decided to pull the coverage from Eurosport entirely, that's all over Europe not just in the UK. Not sure the reason behind their decision but the fact remains you can still watch all the racing and qualifying live on BBC for free and you won't need to pay Sky/Virgin or whatever...So other than different presenters/commentators (who in fairness listens to that rubbash anyway? I turn the sound down) and no interruptions from advertising, you won't miss a thing. If you want to be kept up to date with all the latest news and paddock gossip http://www.crash.net, http://www.motogp.com and of course http://www.motorcyclenews.com are the places to go...What on earth is all this fuss about? Guest Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 the fuss is that i happen to like eurosports coverage. Currently the BBC coverage is poor in my opinion. I like Suzuki's more than Yamaha's is that me making a fuss... no its my choice and i am having my choices made for me by Dorna. Its the ex-pats who watch it all over europe who will suffer unless they want to listen in their adopted countries tongue.Voodoo...its currently free on the beeb i CHOOSE to watch Eurosport because the presenters are well informed and funny. I even put up with the ad breaks rather than flick to the BBC.Any removal of freedom of choice is a bad thing in my book Quote
