onewayd Posted May 23, 2022 Posted May 23, 2022 I, well my lad, have come into posession of an unregistered 1981 moped. I thin it is a Cesare Rizzato, although the Italian paperwork is a little difficult for me to work out. it is a 3 geared 50cc, with the gear selector and clutch all on the left grip! Anyone aware of the bike? it was a gift and he was going to keep it however now we are thinking of selling it on, just have no idea where to try and find a buyer. Quote
Gerontious Posted May 23, 2022 Posted May 23, 2022 (edited) according to google Cesare Rizzato was a frame builder and his name was added to bikes made by other manufacturers. kinda like Harris is here. Seems likely to me that the bike was made by one of the huge number of smaller lesser well known Italian manufactures that disappeared in the 50s-80s due to the Japanese invasion. Like this Atala.
