Hi, been asked to let you all know about this charity event, to raise funds for the Air Ambulance, a worthy cause, who operate soley on donations.

The track day is at Mallory Park and is being organised by the Visordown forum, after one of there members was involved in a serious road traffic accident as a way of thanking the emergency services.

All details here..

http://www.backmarker.co.uk/trackday.htm

The track day comes at a reduced cost of £90.00 per rider. If you just want to go and watch and take part in the evenings entertainment and camping, the cost will be £10.00. I believe children are welcome.

If you can, please go along.... it should be a good day/night. If you need to know anything else, please let me know.

Vicki.

Helloooo :)

Yup was brilliant thank you.... although I hate camping and didnt sleep at all last night.... kept hearing the church bells chiming on the hour, every hour.

The pub there was open til the last person left.... which was way gone 5am this morning... might have to do summat there... its good :)

We handed over a cheque for £750 and there was a lot more to follow, so hopefully reach the £1000 they wanted.

Will post final figure and some pics shortly :)

It was a good weekend from what people told me once I came out of my coma( best nights sleep in a tent ive had this year), a friendly bunch of people and all seemed to go off well!

Taken from Visordown:

As some of you are aware we handed over a cheque on Sat to Air Am for £750.

Since then AC has done the figures and we will add another £500 to that, so a total at this point of £1250.

This doesn't include what Air Am collected on the day, I should have them figures from them soon, they did say collection wise it was very good and the buckets were brimming.

There will be a few more quids to come from the sale of the remaining lanyards.

Because the nearby pub was playin loud music til gone 5am...

And the church bells rang on the hour, quarter hour, half hour and quarter to the hour... and i heard each one!

Plus... the ground was hard, it was cold, and i hate camping.

Sorry nothing more interesting to report!
