Air intake box

Hi guys newbie here on verge of buying Honda cb650r and was wondering if there is some sort of mod for the air intake boxes as personally think they spoil the bike would prefer something more intigrated rather than something that looks just stuck on as an after thought, l realise some people will like them and thats fine no offence , thanks in advance John

Generally you'll find any modification of air intakes unless specifically engineered for the bike will just cause wind turbulence and as a result disturb the performance/ power delivery in a noticeable way.

Agree with Megaross.

Just dont bother its not worth it for those bikes for sod all gains, the biggest restriction is not the airbox, its loads of other little part within the whole bike not just one component.

If your keeping the bike long term you could just stick to the usual and swap it out for a K&N (others are available) replacement panel filter at service time.
