Gary Watkinson Posted June 18, 2024 Posted June 18, 2024 I've just got hold of an old KE100 that I'm trying to get running for the grandkids. It came with no information so I've no idea what year it is. I've tried searching the net for information using the engine number but having no luck. Any advice would be appreciated. Cheers. Quote
Old-codger Posted June 18, 2024 Posted June 18, 2024 Hi there have you got any more info like the chassis number and a picture of the bike. This site may help identifying parts Kawasaki KE100 parts: order genuine spare parts online at CMSNL Quote
Gary Watkinson Posted June 18, 2024 Author Posted June 18, 2024 Thanks for the reply. I've posted pictures of other numbers I've found on the frame. Quote
Old-codger Posted June 19, 2024 Posted June 19, 2024 So its a KE100 B between 82 and 86 but to get a more accurate date and model give your local kawasaki dealer a ring and ask them to run the frame number through the computer. Looking at the various models it doesnt look like it changed much in the 4 years so parts hopefully will be common to all. Quote
Gary Watkinson Posted June 19, 2024 Author Posted June 19, 2024 Thanks for all your help. I'll check with the dealer and then get to tinkering. Quote
Dave in Kerry Posted June 19, 2024 Posted June 19, 2024 Good luck with your project. The KE100 was the first bike I bought with my own money as a kid. Little disc valve stroker with oil injection. Fond memories of it. Quote
