Hi all . Thankyou for accepting me into this forum .

i have a 2008 YBR125 that has been in storage for 10 years .

i have cleaned petrol tank out and replaced the pump and filter
On trying to start up I get Code 39.

I have checked the coil on the injector and that was fine but still fitted a new one with same results ( 39)?

I hear the fuel pump work until pressure is reached .
engine runs for 10 secs with easy start

I have “Buzzed” the wires through from the injector plug to the ECU .

I have an even tried another ECU .

Any help would be great full.

thanks

Thanks again for replying.

The sensor is as in tail . I have tested voltage at 3v on 2 wires .
replaced the module and still have 39 code .

on testing voltage on the injector I have 9v . I’m wondering if the replacement ECU I have has the same fault as original?
I have cranked engine over with injector out with nothing showing.
Dose the signal come from a crank sensor to power the injector?

As a general rule, the ECM needs to see crank position, engine speed, cam position, throttle position and engine temp to fire the injector.

Check ECM ground cable.

Many thanks to all for your support.

because the bike had been off the road for several years and not knowing why the history on why I found it difficult to find out why and what was wrong.

i have now changed the complete tank unit because I could hear the pump but not enough pressure. Also I had changed the Tilt sensor, fuel injector and then the ECU and then the 3/9 code went out and now the bike runs fine .
