Lexmoto viper 2019 engine rattling

Hello, just brought a lexmoto viper spares and repairs wouldn’t even start up when I got this for £100 but I have got this running, when starting the bike up the top of the engine there’s a rattling sound and when putting it into gear the bike like jolts 5 times while in full throttle after the 5 times it speeds off normally

Once putting into first gear and going it’s Just jolting like full throttle doesn’t feel or sound like or looks like it’s going anywhere

Good job but Might help to say “What did you do” to get it running first?

 

top end rattle might be simple like something loose to cam chain loose or tension.

the jolt might be loose bolt but I’ll say check the hub and the crush drives first, if the rubber sections are not even remotely rubber hammer booshed in tight they are too loose. then check the front sprocket. Then check the chain really well as even a link slightly loose or tight can create things.

jolting in full might be due if the timing has slipped or not set correctly. Other is sensors, wither thats gear indicator or . Air box/pressure sensor.

the other as I’m looking at the exhaust is if it’s running far too lean or rich (especially if you’ve taken the baffle out) but most likely too lean, check the condition of the spark plug and exhaust. 
 

 

I will have a look around today and when I got it I charged the spark plug drained the old petrol but new in and out a new battery in etc and it started working

I don’t have a clue just start rattling once the bike turns on

Turns on, starts up or running?
when Turn on might be a loose fuel pump/fittings or filter or even somebody dropped something in the fuel tank

I will have a look around found this video it sounds identical to my bike the same noise
