The biggest miss was making it weigh and handle like an oil tanker. They should’ve made it lightweight.

I'm surprised it can meet the new Euro 5+ emissions coming in next year.  I thought that's when it would get the newer engine.

It already had it in the pipe line for that target before the engine was designed a few years prior, so a new design engine isn’t necessary…even the bigger and older 650 will brezze pass.
mostly now down to more ecu strict controls and lack of degradation to main components.
