Tom2507 Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Hi everyone! Was hoping somebody could be of help with my XV535. When cold my bike does not like to start, however, when I remove the front spark plug & test (which it shows a blue spark)off of the engine block it’ll fire up. If I then place the spark plug back, the bike will fire up normally from then on. There is fuel reaching carbs & if I leave the bike to run it’ll idle fine until I turn it off. Does anyone have any ideas on this? Cheers Quote
V650 Posted March 16 Posted March 16 A quick google of XV535 shows a yamaha circa 1995 Does the bike have a choke ? It would seem to me like it may be flooded and removing the spark plug lets the fuel evaporate and runs after that Just me thinking out loud 1 Quote
