Now, I know this topic has been done to death, but I shall still murder it just a little further........

I briefly touched on using these in a different section.

I can't afford expensive custom moulded ear buds, and I don't fancy the faff of plugging them in to my Cardo every time I put my helmet on etc.

So through t'internet search I bought some simple ear plugs with a filter inserted. I can't stress enough what a vast difference they have made to my riding. I was a little frustrated at first, because they weren't comfortable, and they weren't doing a good job. I then read the instructions and realised that they didn't fit properly because I was using the wrong size. They come with three sizes, I moved the filter into the middle size and not only do they fit so comfortably, but they are also so very effective. I can hear so little wind noise, what a joy!! I can hear my music without the volume high, and I can still hear the bike nicely without flinching at high rev's.

At only £15, I'm really pleased with them.

They're these things https://www.connevans.co.uk/product/33732384/3P1083084/Phonak-Serenity-Choice-Motorsport-SNR-24-Reusable-Earplugs-KI25

You don't have to get the ones with speakers built in you can just get custom moulded plugs with filters for between £60 and £100 :thumb:
