jabcrosshook Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 I've been thinking of getting a pair of jeans for the bike.Anyone recommend a make? What sort of protection do you get? And what about cost? Cheers. Quote
MonkeyKnuckle Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 I got some Draggin' jeans, they are lined with kevlar.Cost about £90 or so.. Quote
Korben Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 Draggin Jeans are meant to be very good. Quote
Korben Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 That's actually bloomin impressive!!!!!May get some for myself next year. Quote
Richard Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 I bought VOTO jeans. Went down the road last year when somebody didn't think that a give way sign was applicable to them, couple of cracked ribs and a hip that looked like a raw steak but no skin damage and jeans still good. Quote
PMC Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 I have some Hood Jeans, the ND4 version with kevlar lining throughout, rather than just on key areas. I also have the Knox hip and knee armor they supply as an optional extra. They seem to be good, though I haven't had an off in them. The woven kevlar lining makes them much less breathable then the knitted type (used in some of their jeans, and by Draggin' etc). Better protection, but once you are off the bike on a warm day, you will sweat! Quote
yorbandit Posted September 22, 2008 Posted September 22, 2008 I just paid 60 quid jacket and jeans at BMF end of line design me thinks not ridden in em yet Quote
