Guest philgale Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 no protective clothing is ever too much....if you like it and it protects you go for it Quote
Guest Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 look on ebay to see if you can find it cheaper, but before you do that i go a shop a try it on. that way you will buy the right size for you from ebay. Quote
Korben Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Not cheap, but Alpinestar ain't. If you like it, want it, and can afford it, then get it mate. Shop around though... Like peeps have said get on Fleabay. Might have it cheaper. Quote
dex Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 My advice, if you're getting your first bike jacket, is to get a textile one. They deal with cold and wet far better than leather - it's nice to have a decent leather jacket to wear in the summer- but a vented leather in the cold and rain is really no fun. It's a nice looking jacket though (If you can handle the ladies zip) Quote

That just makes us jealous!! Go for leathers. For the small amount of rain you do get you can buy a simple rainproof over suit. Quote

Guest Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 Govt gave me £1k to go to Coventry uni a few years back. Only stayed the first year I say go for the jacket. If you like it and can afford it then buy it. Like someone else has already said you can never have enough protection. And thats only a tiny hump, you should see mine Quote
