Keeping your hands warm is tough mate. Heated Grips seem to work for a lot of people.

Hein Gericke Pathon are good gloves, but thats only part of it, you need to make sure that you keep your core temp up as well.

I brought my winter gloves slightly bigger than needed, a) to enable me to get liners in them (if needed) and b) if your finger tips are squashed into the ends of the fingers they tend to get cold quicker. This does make it a little more difficult with the controls but I find it helps me. I have "Buffalo Thermomix" and they are also pretty good.

I dont care what winter gloves you buy eventually your hands will get cold if there in the wind, they dont look good but how about muffs?

I got myself a pair of Buffalo waterproof winter gloves one size larger. I can use them with thermal fleece inner gloves which keep me quite warm and the other option is for very very cold days I use a 3mm diving gloves worn inside my Buffalo winter gloves. Boy do my hands sweat ? ;)

My recommendation is the latter and your hands will be warm

i didn't like the heated grips. scalding hot on the palm, icy cold on the back. eventually decided to spend some decent money and got the exo2 heated gloves. pricey, but they work. got enough feel on the palms to ride properly, and i can still type when i get into work. just need to try the cheaper ways of keeping my toes warm now...

I can vouch for the gloves TC quoted in that thread Korbs posted. For £40 they are excellent.

I have some cheapo cow hide ones I got off ebay. Not exactly winter thick but kept my hads warm enough so far, even in -1 celcius!
