counter balance gears

Gotcha cheers, and just to double check, when refitting counter balance gears the wieght needs to be down verticaly, and the piston needs to be top dead centre right? Does it have to be absoulutly presice? Thanks

 

Not sure about counter weight orientation, but I think the two cogs usually have marks on that align them. How you align them to the crank and balance shaft, i'm not sure, woodruft key?


If you've read that somewhere it may well be correct.
