Guest Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 are there any good or interesting places ( surely birmingham has some? ) that i can visit on the bike, im visiting family so dont really want to be out all day and night on mega long journeys as it will kinda defeat the object as none of them ride ,im leaving in about 2 hours or so as they are meeting up with me after work/pick kids up/erronds etc. and im heading for a little place called 'wylde green'.any decent places about then guys? biker friendly or touristy Quote
Susieque Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 I'm not from the Birmingham area but Rennie is from Telford which is not far, and he's taken me/told me of a few places.I've been to Ironbridge which is quite touristy and there's a museum there. There's also an some sort of industrial museum place near there - can't remember the name.Bridgenorth is a nice place, with a vernicular railway joining 2 parts of the town.In Telford there's a big hill called The Wrekin which has historical connections but I haven't tackled that yet! As far as bike stops are concerned there's Quatt Cafe which is on A442 nr Bridgenorth Quote
