AngryAnt Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 had a Honda 2005 CBR125.. Can't fault em. They are very nippy, and a great one to learn on. You'll notice a lack of power once you get past 50mph though, and its a nightmare sitting on a fast 60 road, doing 50 in 5th (and going up to 6th, it starts to slowly creap down!).They handle and turn great, and are extremely light to flick around bends... I had mine untill the 8th of May (it was nicked in Middlesborough >.<). And while, you will eventually outgrow it, its fine for running around town.I've also never had a single problem with it, sailed through its MoT twice, and didn't need to do anything bar oil the chain every few thousand miles. You can also go on motorways which is great , and my top speed (A1/M wind behind my back, down hill etc) was 85mph.. But it was a little stroppy with me for a few days after.Having said that, i wouldn't reccommend doing a long journey on one. About 110miles tops, as the standard seat really starts to hurt after that length of time (around 80miles for me was when i started to ache). Quote
