Fazer Pete Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Most rides seem to get organised in general rides for the North West. And like Gary says, Wales at the weekend was superb Quote
Guest Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 There's another rideout round North Wales being organised via the Sparkyslider site. The proposed route is as follows and is planned for August 19th; meet at "horseshoe pass".. then head to "bala".. keep going west to "Tal-y-llyn" then to "abergynolwyn" .. to "Tywyn" .. down to "Aberdovey" have lunch.. head out to "Welshpool" .. "Shrewsbury" "Telford" A bit further south than the last one but some nice roads to enjoy.Von41 is the guy to contact. Quote
Fazer Pete Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Get your bike and license sorted and your more than welcome. On the ride on Sunday there where peeps whose experience went from just starting out life long riders. Kept a steady pace so all could stay together Quote

Guest Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 This event is worth a ride up to in the lakes...Any members would like to take a ride to the Glebe at Bowness on Windermere on Saturday the 11th of August?...Windermere and Ambleside Lions are holding a Family Fun Festival and have asked me if any members would come along, park up in a designated area and basically just let folks have a look and a natter. I thought noon till 3pm would be the best Day out to the Lakes, park up, natter about bikes, scenic ride home...whaddya think?...a bit short notice i know, but myself and a few friends off another forum are making the effort ... meeting at the tickled trout jct just off the M6 for 9.30am.... all are welcome Quote
