Guest Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 any of you people of experience know why my gp100 "dies" after riding for about 45mins/1hr,she will not kick up then for about half hour?just noticed there is no air filter,could this be one(of many)reasons?plenty f uel,has new plug.is it electrical?pleeze help!noob in distress :also:)it is a rotary disc valve model,does it have a carburettor as such? kja.busa Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 The carburettor is in the casing on the right hand side of the engine at the front, remove the screws and you'll soon find it. Or follow the throttle cables!ps, don't run it without an airfilter, it will run weaK, too much air getting through. Quote
Guest Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 how old is your GP100, when was the last time you topped up the oil...My GP100 seized due to the oil pump filter becoming blocked, and i didn't notice, could be its not getting oil, so overheating, .... Quote
