Guest Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 hmmmm poss how will i rectify the problem ? Quote
Anthony Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 some people say tap the side of the carb which might release any stuck floats or its a case of taking it apart v.carefully to see if it is stuck (v. carefully so as not to unstick(sp) it and find nothing wrong)Or you could lube the throttle cable and check its not snagging on anything which could cause the red line effect Quote
Bill_on_a_bike Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 Check the routing of throttle cable, make sure nothing's pulling it tight. I put my tank back on over mine once and it revved like hell. Quote
Guest Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 if none of these thread work, then...Take the top of the carb and turn the slide round, you probably have it in the wrong way round, which means its fully open..it should have a cut out and a notch, these need to be on the same side.. Quote
