brooklyn
Ive managed to dent my tank when i was wheeling the bike back wards. it kinda fell away from me onto a gate post that i was going through. What would be the best thing to do:Look for another tank, which I'm finding bloody hard to findOR have it repaired but then will it look as good has before??? Alex Gold
New tank. It CAN be fixed, but it'd cost the earth IMO
Alex Gold
In fact, depending on the condition of the bike I'd think about dent puller/touch-up paint, but it won't be anywhere near perfect. Still, better than what will probably be over 200 quids worth of restoration work.
brooklyn
mmmmm i see what ya sayin. the bike is in mint con so i would like the tank to be in the condition it was in before i dented it. (if poss)Iv got it booked into a garage tomo for them to look at but in the mean time im going to look for another tank
Bill_on_a_bike
from experience, you'll struggle to get a dent that pointed out.
