  1. Mine came with velcro so I just stuck one piece to the camera holder and one piece to the inside of the helmet. Which camera holder? And how is it not looking at the ceiling? Both my helmets, the bit at the side inside the visor is angled like this http://images.esellerpro.com/2189/I/146/22/Box-BX-2-Motorcycle-Motorbike-Helmet-Matt-Black-1.jpg
  2. Ok I got one, mounted it on the screen with the screw-on bracket, it sucks. 'Nods' all the time and makes you feel sick watching it, plus white balance is too sensitive. Would ideally put it in my helmet (smoother ride, plus visor takes glare out), but really can't work out how anyone has managed that. Any tips?
  3. Well...I'm off to Beachy Head on Sunday! Have a good ride guys...
  4. Is there a rideout(back) from the Ace then, or are you just hammering it on the motorway?
  5. I have posted about 2 rideouts here and go no response either time, so I don't bother any more... ...I could make the Ace though, since I am there 3 or 4 days a week anyway!
  6. Avon RoadRiders on my GSXF750, had BT021s on before....Avons are MUCH better, 150 quid for a set too!
  7. We too smart to go on the roads the police would be on! Saw one guy with a hairdryer, but you'd have had to be blind to miss him and it was in a town so that was fair enough
  8. Woohoo, I was beginning to think I had found the magic 'invisible post' button!
  9. Anyone going to the Ace Saturday night? (That is when the live music is on, right?)
  10. Brake disks are a killer - one of the reasons why it's important to check your pads regularly!
  11. I assume you mean pitted brake disks... A new front tyre. - 80 quid Replace pitted brakes (front and back) - (120-150+ each) 360-450 quid Possibly replace the cans (two). - (100-200+ each) 2-400+ End result - probably don't buy it.
  12. In fact, depending on the condition of the bike I'd think about dent puller/touch-up paint, but it won't be anywhere near perfect. Still, better than what will probably be over 200 quids worth of restoration work.
  13. New tank. It CAN be fixed, but it'd cost the earth IMO
  14. Clearly a poor troll, see other post for more proof. Although... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BulletProof-Cloth ... 286.c0.m14
  15. Does it run on batteries and can it be plugged in? What sort of battery life is there?
  16. Does it have an option to record sound, or just video?
  17. I'll probably be there before going on an evening ride, around half 6 to half 7
  18. Spring (and thus rubber cup on end) was backwards. Turned it round - it's no better, but it does seem to be bleeding back now. Never seen a bubble come out into the M/C before now, and it was bubbling when we re-attached it so hoping for the best. Have it tied up now playing the waiting game again.
  19. I have dark tinted and gold iridium....I prefer the iridium, as it filters the light differently. Best way to put it is things look more green/blue with the dark visor and more yellow with the iridium. Both filter sunlight but my eyes seem to react better to the iridium (meaning I often see stuff but don't register it with a dark visor on, especially as the light fades)
  20. Did anyone's front brake work? Or is it just mine that's an absolute nightmare to get air out of!
  21. If my latest trick (cracking ALL the banjo bolts one at a time and doing the above trick, then bleeding all the bleed nipples and tying up the lever with master cylinder at a jaunty angle) doesn't work, I am stripping the whole system so will check that, cheers for the idea.
