Like I said before. I was trying to help and perhaps I made a mistake. You still didn't have to be such a prick.

Your a mouthy little ****, I was trying to help! I checked a hand full of sites for tyres and looked at both car and bike, I made a mental note to look at asda in future because prices where so good. My intention was to pass this on and do a good deed not to be lambasted for my input. All you had to do is say asda don't appear to sell bike tyres, but no as normal you can't wait to jump on my posts. Well go for it, you can ban me now for 'my attitude' can't you. Hope you speak to me that way in person one day!

Cheaper than both is asda. I just had 4 new 245/35/19s on my jag and they where £30 a corner less than black circles, cam skill, any one else I tried. I was shocked to find asda did tyres, they operate the same as cams kill/black circles with delivery and fitting, I chose halfords as my local free fitting centre.
  13. Stu is spot on. They must be fitted well or waste of time! Fit correctly and they great. I'd your lid interferes with them they no where near deep enough! I some times struggle to grip mine to remove them hahaha. I do have moulded ones too and they are even better but they are £185 or £260 with the embedded earphones. They not low quality like the RnG ones tho they are much better silicone items. Truth be told work supply them for me to use at work, but I'm allowed to use them to commute too The disposables I favour are 3M barrel shapes ones but it depends on the individual. The attenuation of each type depends on the wearers ear canal shape, we have to do db attenuation tests before we allowed to wear any sort at work, you know how yank companies are. waste of £20k to buy that machine but we can't have a new fridge for the work shop
  14. These do seem to get rave reviews, I think I'll be trying a pair soon.
  15. I haven't had any real problems with a pair of jeans, T shirt, wooly jumper, thick socks, leathers, boots and gloves. Even with winter gloves and heated grips after a 1 hour ride at -4 my finger tips get numb. Nothing else gets cold. I find a good balaclava and neck tube worth their weight in gold tho! A balaclava from aldi comes down right over your chest and no matter how much you turn your neck no cold blast hits your neck. A thick neck tube, also from aldi but from their cycling range, helps seal the top opening of the leathers and assists the balaclava.
  16. For £10 its worth going every spring then IMHO. I'll see how I find it and report back
  17. War of the worlds :8

    Engine Keeps Running

To make it stop off the key would be easy with an extra relay, but adding components isn't fixing the problem, its pandering to it. If you was in the wolves area I'd have a look at it for you. Distance diagnostics isn't easy lol.

    Engine Keeps Running

Do you have a wiring diagram I can look at? What bike is it?

    Engine Keeps Running

Once you have stopped the engine can you start it with out replacing the key?
  23. That's a fair point. But if both corrode its even worse. not only does the pin expand as it delaminates but the rough surface doesn't slide as freely when hit.
  24. I have loads of silver steel that I used to make dowels with and yeah it does. tbf I dunno if it's as bad or not as normal steel but after a few years in a dry garage it was deep orange/brown and pitted to buggery. So I wouldn't fancy it on a bike where it will get salt and water on it. It has a very good grain structure tho and machines nicely lol.
  25. Noooooooooo, silver steel rusts like crazy. Standard are coated. Buy standard or stainless.
