Just a quick post to see if anyone is having a nice easy ride today around the north west or wales I'm from winsford in Cheshire got a new bike and wanted to break it in and put some miles on it before winter

Hi mate when i was learning my theory i got an app for the iphone so i could have it with me on the go and could look through it in work and anytime i had a spare 10 mins it has mock tests on there aswell its called motocycle theory test

After having a look on the comparison sites last night the cheapest was

z1000 £496

Street tripple £527

Speed tripple £579

Hornet £638

Cb1000r £850

So i dont know what go for ill have to take a couple for a test ride, i really like the z1000 with it having abit more fairing but i dont know if its a good idea to have a 1000cc as a first big bike

I was lookin at a newish bike maybe brand new or a ex demo bike if the monthly payment r within my budget, ive been looking at the triumph streets and kawka z any naked bikes really cz ther cheaper on insurance for me than a cbr 600 that i really wanted

Hi guys passed my mod 2 test this afternoon in the pissin down rain cant wait to go on the search for a bike now might wait till the new year to see if there are any sales on

Hi guys looking at getting some base layers to stop the rubbing feeling on my arms and legs, I just want something cheap, where do people go to get ther layers from?

I have booked my mod 2 for the start of next month so fingers crossed I have been looking at triumph speed/street triple r as a first bike and the kawa z range as well would these be good for a first bike?

I im quite new on here Passed mod1 test today felt great after it having no minors or comments of the test instructor looking forward to my mod 2 test now 1 more lesson then it will be booked hopefully in the next 2 weeks can't wait to be on the road

Thanks for the replies i went for the alpinestars hydrosport got them for £100 which i was happy with plus they didnt have the others in my size

I like sports boot but i prefer the one without lots of plastic around them dont they tend to squeek?

Im goin out today to buy my first pair off boots and my budget is between £150-£180 the boots that have caught my eye are:

TCX ss sport waterproof

TCX s zero waterproof

Alpinestar smx4 waterproof

These are the ones i have tried on and they all seem to fit well, if there are any others that people could recommend i can try them on as im going to my local j&s

I found these for £350 for the pants and jacket does anyone else have these and what are they like if you fall off do the hold up well? Any help would be great
