  1. Once again all you guys have been amazing in the advice

    and thank you so much.

The final result is im buying a new oil cooler for approx 115 quid

from MandP direct. already purchased oil lines so bike will be back on road mid week

gota spend a bit more than anticipated but i think the bikes worth it and wots

the point of owning a credit card and not using it. So once again thankyou all

    & im sure

    ill be back :D

  2. Hi Again

Thank you very much for all your replies and help.

There is apparently another option. Ive been told by a bike mechanic that i could just delete the oil cooler

and put blanking plates on removing the cooler and pipes. He says that in this country it dosnt get hot enough to

make much of a difference. Im a bit skeptical about this idea Alot of bikes nowadays have oil coolers and they must be there for a reason. so i know everyone who reads this will differ opinions BUT is it really that easy or will i F**k my engine.

its not im a tight arse but i dont have much of a budget and an oil cooler for 110 quid is a gud chunk of my budget (excellent price tho)

whereas deleting the cooler will cost me 30. could really do with some advice

    thanks so much again all

  3. hi guys

i have a 600cc bandit s on a 2000 reg (W) and i have got one of the usual bandit faults

i have a oil leak from my oil cooler. I have looked on ebay for another but dont really fancy buying one from there as a second hand

one could have the same problem of my own.

I totally refuse to get one from suzuki at over 200 quid

so the question being where the heck can i get 1 from

i have been told that theres a aftermarket cooler that is modified where the pipes connect to the cooler are thicker joints as to stop the crack appearing on the cooler but aint got a clue where to get 1

any ideas please im having withdrawals from my weekend rides

    thank you

  4. Recently passed my test and got my 1st legal Big bike W reg 600s faired Bandit

    i paid 1000 for it with 12mth tax & 10mth test

i was advised on a few different 600cc bikes in the end i chose the bandit

The power is amazing i got to 130 & wasnt red lining only just testin top speed

didnt maintain that speed for long the riding position is really comfy its nice and light

and handles well, i cant really compare it with any other bikes in this range as ive not rode any of them yet

but i will say if your a totally new rider PLEASE be careful what ever you buy theese newer bikes are fast

but for a 1st road bike ITS AMAZING
