  1. Big spiders for me and surprisingly hot air balloons! I stood in the basket of one and had to get out after looking up into the massive bag above me! Sends shivers down my spine just thinking about it. Don't mind heights and have flown an open cockpit bi plane in the past. Strange thing the mind. :?

  2. I work at the Immingham Terminal and we do get a lot of bikes going out to Iceland, all GS's and the like. They have to be containerised and it isn't cheap. Most do it as a group to make it cheaper but Iceland is very expensive, or so I am told by the bikers. All of them do say that it is worth every penny though. Me, I will stick to nice warm holidays as I hate the cold.

  3. Thanks guys, that is the best laugh I have had for a long time. I have lost count of the amount of Lemmings I encounter going to work early morning who must think they glow in the dark! I often wonder if they are just too poor to buy a set of lights or the amount of wheels on their bikes exceeds there brain cells!

  4. Beware of the Tom Tom as I had one for years working well until I wanted to update the maps on it. I paid for them online and tried to update it but it ended up turning it into a brick. (I did get my money back after complaining) I have now bought a Garmin version which seems fine so far. HTH.

  5. The government encouraged diesel because of the lower CO2 emissions, but they forgot about all the other nasty stuff like particulates and Nitrogen dioxide which are now poisoning us all especially in places like London.. I'll be glad to see the back of diesel.

I don't think you will see that any time soon, all of our goods are transported by diesel trucks and has already been noted big diesel ships. Just imagine what would happen if they banned all diesels all of our goods would rocket in cost due to transporting them with petrol! Can't see them doing a scrappage scheme for trucks and ships.

  6. A recent idiot while selling my mates BMW. He bid and won the item only to send me an e-mail the next day telling me it was an accident as his son had got hold of his phone and bid on it! Total bullsh*t. I reported him but had to re list it at my own cost again.

Why would it cost you if it wasn't sold? And couldn't you have made the next in line bidder an offer to buy?

There wasn't another bidder and I had to re list the bike again as it had been removed as sold. :(
