    Hello peeps,quick lesson for everybody,before spending money on coils plugs plug caps and so on for a misfire try draining the gloat bowls,has cured my bike !!!!

    Right chaps,I have fitted new coils,spark plugs and caps,new air filter,bike is much better but not perfect,it ticks over and rides fine warm or cold,did fifty odd miles this morning and ir only misfired a couple of times,I'm now well stumped :| ol yeah I spoke to a mechanic and he said if the ecu/cdi unit was at fault the bike probably wouldn't run :/

    Lol,it's had oil,oil filter and plugs every year just not air filter

    thanks fozzie,yeah I did change the plugs,going to get an ecu,but before I do I'm gonna change air filter as hasn't been done since I've owned the bike that's about 4 years lol,also its been sitting all winter with only a small amount of fuel in it so gonna empty that out and put in some fresh juice,just so bloody cold at the mo and I ain't got a garage

    Hey fella's thanks for all the info,fitted new plug caps and only slightly better,a mechanic mate suggested stripping down the the carbs,any more suggestions would be welcome as I'm not sure if that's beyond my capabilities lol

    Yeah looked last night and 1 and 4 caps are both arcing to head

    Hey peeps,just fitted my new coils and still no better,in fact seems a bit worse,does any know what spark plug caps I need can't seem to find them anywhere on internet,getting proper stressed

    Thanks guys,just found some on the internet 70 quid for the pair,so gonna just replace both,they don't come with plug caps tho do you think I should replace those as well

    Hi,my names mark,my bike has carbs an after market can but always did have before the misfire,it misses from low down the revs but once I rev it hard seem to disappear
