Pedrosa was half a second faster than anybody else at qualifying. Gorgeous Jorge 2nd followed by Rossi. De Angelis finally decided to get a move on and got 4th. Then the 2 yanks Edwards and Hayden followed by Elias who is desperate to show he's worth a seat next season. To52land took his time and came through 10th. The Suzukis have given up the chase qualifying in 11th, Capi, and 14th Moleface. Kallio seems to have either realised what a beast that factory Ducati really is or has been given a crocked engine and qualified in 15th, even Canepa was placed better in 13th. Weather is looking perfect, at least we should get a whole race this year

I honestly can't see anyone currently in MotoGP beating Rossi next year barring injury. Also new rules don't allow a rookie (Spies?) to join a factory team except Suzuki.

For me its not the point that its not live on Eurosport anymore, its the fact that the BBC wanted the exclusive rights and are totally f**king it up, driving more people away from enjoying what is a much more exciting sport than tennis or bloody F1 or dare I say snooker. You should be at mine around 9ish, I'm meeting you at a BP station on the motorway, Keith knows where. From there its 5 minutes to mine, nice brekky. Then say 2 1/2 hours to Assen. I suppose qualies might be a bit early for us, finding campsite, setting tents up etc. The qualies are crap this year anyway. Oh and Gary, I am the local knowledge ( God help us! ) Last year we just got ourselves sorted out and went into the city, can't remember much after that

Yep, that sounds about right. If someones reading this and never been to Assen my advice is to get over there and party, always the last friday of June. This year they have classic bike races on a street circuit, a parade of old Gp bikes and lots of beer
