hey Christmas has just gone used to be riding cg 125 and sukida 200 4 strokes but my dad got me a rm 125 1993 stroker of course absolutely mental goes like stink great bike quite big though great i love it best Christmas pressy ever amazing bike !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got new shocks for.cg

My dad has got 2 or 3 of these and i asked him about them.he reckons theyre comfortable for about 80 miles or so,the riding position is good but the seat is hard.he says they are reliable and to run them on a semi synth oil as the clutches dont always like a fully synth and can make them slip.the 3tj is the grey import model and the 4dx is the uk spec model but they are more or less exactly the same bar a few minor details.spares are very cheap second hand and fowlers and granbys still carry a good stock of stuff for them.try the 400 grey bike forum as it has a section just for the the fzr400 and they are very helpfull.the 3tj model is restricted to 112mph and needs an mph converter to unleash the last few mph,it fits on the back of the speedo as thats where the restriction is but he says its probably already been done if its been in the country for a few years-any thing else just ask

Plenty of CG125s about so parts shouldn't be to hard to come by. Ebay is normally the first port of call as a lot of the breakers advertise there.

Depending on what you are looking for then new parts are relatively cheap as well - I've used Wemoto online for stuff for my daughter's CG125 and YBR125

I would also recommend getting hold of the Haynes Manual for it, if your dad hasn't already got one - very useful

shock mount has broken in half?do you mean on the frame or swinging arm or the top or bottom of the shock itself if its frame/swinging rm its big welding job or replace swinging arm if its shock itself just replace it

On the top of the shock

i have a cg 125(1981 model) im am only 12 i use it for a field bike it is currently broken the rear shocks exploded right hand side shock mount

has brocken in half and it drops all petral out of carb pipe
