Just went to the petrol station on my motorbike, got there, put they key in the tank to open the nozel but it wouldn't go in so i had to come all the way home, put some greace in the key part of the tank to try and free it up. Tried again put the key in the tank to try and open it up so i could get some petrol in my bike, and it fooking snapped ffs. I have no spare key for my bike but have the two half's left of the key,do you think some key smiths will be able to make me out a replacement key with the 2 half's? Fooking hope so i don't wanna be forking out for a new ignition
  3. Sorted it all out yesterday What would happen if i (cough) accidentally overfilled it with oil?
  4. Hi all Me 1st post in ages. What it is i was driving home today ,when i was up shifting through the gears it got stuck on 3rd on would not go into 4th. So i pulled over and manually forced it into 4th and everything was ok from then on in. Now I'm thinking i need an engine oil change? I have an aprilia rs 2001 125cc bike and got told that the pertol oil (2 stroke) is all i need for my bike? Is this true or do i need separate engine oil for the gears etc....? Thanks
  5. I'll have to buy a longer shock for the rear i think? The one on it is crappy and small
  6. Hi all Is there a way of heightening an rs 125cc 2001 model bike? Mine look's really low , and i think it makes the bike look poor? Newer and the older bike looked alot better when it was higher. Is there a way of doing this? Or any hints and tips to make it look bigger at the rear? Thanks
  7. I finally got the seized nut off the back and noticed the cdi unit's been messed around with? Didn't look like the size of hole the official way says for it to be done? But It's defiantly been tampered with , so i might have a cat or something in this exhaust seeing how It's new. I'm going to totally strip this bike in winter ,clean everything and renew piston+rings and other stuff.

  9. I went to the garage before to put £5 of petty in my bike, went to alricham and back to my house I'd say 15-17 miles max, got home and there was hardly any petrol left whatsoever? surly there's something wrong here? I whipped the spark plug out and it was quiet black with a golden look around the ring at the top, dry also? On my way home 2 nights ago i noticed either the front wheel bearing of fork is squeaking so I'm going to grease this up , hopefully the will end that problem? As i was on my way home from alricham, before ,as i was slowing to a stop the revs on my bike were really high and then slowed down? Near a virtual standstill it was at 5000 rpm for a second or 2 then came down? What could be causing these problems anybody know please? Plus I'm going to break the bridge on my cdi unit to get rid of the rev limiter hopefully all will be ok.

I just noticed it coming home before, It's when I'm slowing down i can hear squeaking. When i got it home before i jumped up and down on the seat and the back shock seemed to squeak quiet alot. The front fork did to although not as noisy or much. Could using wd40 help? Or is that not recommended for this? I'm going to change the front brake pads in a week or so they feel ok for the time being.

Hi all Just been out on my rs 125 after riding for about 40 mins i got near home slowing down at some traffic lights then i heard quiet a bit of sqeeking from either the back shock or the front forks? Could this be dangerous? The guy at the mot shop said i need my front brake pad replacing soon so it could be that? If you found you're bike to be doing these noises would you carry on riding? Or could it be serious do you think? Thanks

If i keep trying i will just end up rounding the screrw off, has anyone got any hints or tips on how to try and get it moving please? I've tryed spraying a bit of wd40 on the screw but nothing Looks like i might have to buy a new one at this rate so any tips whatsoever will be great. Thanks.
