  1. Definitely can't afford staying there for 3 weeks Is it even worth it going for 1 day and watchind either practice or practice+races???
  2. I'd like to visit the island this year. Haven't done any preparations at all and I didn't even googled it yet (but going to). The facts: - I'm staying in Bolton. - Don't have any means of transport. - Haven't booked anything. - When I go and for how long depends on costs. - I'd like to see some practice and a race or two. - We're 2 people, my wife and I. The questions: - Do I book a ferry ticket? Where from? - What are the stay options? - Do I have to buy a ticket or do I seat wherever I want (except for the stands)? - How will I move there? I know there is a bus, right? Do you know any costs for it? - Is it possible to rent a bike+gear there? Is it worth it? - Is anyone else going as well? Is he/she willing to share costs? - Any usefull advice is welcome.

  6. I think the game was more interesting with the various championships on different dates. I really liked the two or three race rounds of the WSB and the BSB. Anyway, I'm in.

  8. They've made an announcement that it would be coming soon. (Let's hope they just lost the first round of the WSBK) http://www.motorcyclenews.com/mcn/news/ ... 1314-frrl/
  9. Nice work. You told about your camera. What about your lenses?Which ones do you usually use on such occasion?
  10. I think the "Night Racers" are supposed to have better performance than the "Night Breakers" which just give more white light. I also think they are in a similar price.
  11. Ever heard of this guy?? Spectacular videos shoot by himself (I think)...I've never ridden off-road and his job got me looking for an old enduro... ">
  12. There are no unconscious moves that can make u do anything better on a motorcycle, only worse. Only things that you are trained for. The better-fastest-easiest way is to attend some kind of school, or at least get some books specifically written to improve your abilities and apply their instructions.
  13. So, I wanted an everyday commuter to keep my gsxr's mileage as low as possible. Thought the Versys would be a good solution. 2008 model, kawasaki lime green, bought new. Some people still get confused that it's an adventure bike or a trail. Not even close. 90% street bike although it's a bit tall. If you take it easy it will take you to some medium gravel/mud roads. In fact a very good street bike, with nice suspension (I never bothered adjusting it-felt good for my 75kg) that wouldn't get you tired except for when in motorways . Very good handling and agile in tight up/downhill corners. Engine has a pleasant feeling, loads of torque, especially in 2nd-3rd gear (very easy to wheelie). The last two made it a very good bike for nice twisty roads. Travels easily with full load. Only disadvantage is that I got easily tired in motorways from the upstanding riding position (and I'm no tall guy). As said I bought it new from a friend merchant but never did any break-in as he "advised"/urged me. After 5 years and 27000 miles bike was still working great, not even the slightest failure. Finally I sold it just because it was too expensive to keep 2 bikes in my garage and also because I was a bit tired of the riding position (I'm a supersport fan) . Anyway, I have the best of memories from that bike that was like a usefull tool which would do many things very well.
  14. From my wedding day!!! Go with the bike as well!!! Loved them since!
