Clean tank and out put in some cleaning fluid and some bolts and give it a good shake, so I've heard! Just remember to count bolts in and out. It's only what I've heard, haven't tried it myself. -

I've heard that you can apply thin smear of Vaseline on chrome things like wheels to protect them. Then on next wash all dirt has stuck to the Vaseline cones straight off leaving shiny chrome.

V1P3R replied to jamesd1981's topic in Clothing, Luggage, Accessories and Security

Got new exhaust to put on my bike and will be going down either cafe racer or streetfighter route but either way will be wrapping them before fitting. So to improve looks and prevent any future rust from being spotted is win win! Got any pics of your exhaust wrapped bikes?
-
Considering wrapping my exhaust and wondered if anyone has tried it? Is it just a case of wrap it and leave it? Cheers.
