Hey, I'm tidying up an old ER5 that's sat in bits in my garage for the last 18 months and I can't get the new (second hand) exhaust to fit.
What would be the best way to bend the exhaust so it lines up with the brackets?
If I fit the exhaust to the cylinder head it's about 2 inches out on the exhaust hanger.
I forgot to take a pic tonight but will add one in the morning.
Cheers, Rhys

I just got myself a new industrial tool chest, this one:

Should have been £259 and with my card it was £100.

At least he's got a decent ride sorted

Just seen this on the Moto GP website.

I'm gutted for cal but if he can get a decent ride next season, then I think it's the best thing for him.
What's your thoughts?

That's shocking. I don't understand how people can do it

Hi, Thanks for the reply.
Originally I loosely fitted it but then once the brackets were tightened, it wouldn't tighten fully on the cylinder head and blows. So I tried it by tightening the cylinder head bolts first and then the brackets won't line up.
Even though it doesn't look bent, I think it must be, so need to try and bend it with out damaging it.
