. Congratulations. So pleased for youWooohooooo passed my MOD 2 today!! 3 minors, one of them was after a van tried to knock me off and the examiner got between me and the van and pressed his horn and gave the driver what for! I was only out for 30 mins, and thought I had failed as when I turned right at some traffic lights I was just about to enter the new road nd all traffic stopped, and I was on pelican crossing, I creeped forward which meant I was about two feet from the car in front but didn't have much choice! That's it I thought I've failed, the weather was fab, and every roundabout I was straight out even though there was loads of lunchtime traffic, and after 30 mins when we got back he said would you like your instructor present? I said yes, and he then proceeded to say that the van driver had nearly wiped me out, and why didn't i pip my horn, I replied I was just about to but you did it for me, then he said that it was a great ride with just 3 minors, one for going wide at a junction another one for the van as I didn't steer away straight away and the last one for being too close to a van! But who cares I've passssssssed! -
I check my every working day but they are saying 3 weeks average. My friend got hers in 10 days

Have you check online to see if your licence has A added?

Mark is lovely. Mike is my favourite. Didn't like the others muchHad my Mod 2 at Burgess Hill yesterday (23rd Oct)Had the usual questions about pillions then the old how would I check the oil and the chain. The examiner Mark was really laid back and gave clear instructions throughout the ride. We went through a variety of town and country roads, different speed limits, roundabouts etc. It was all pretty straight forward, had to pull over 5 times (twice behand a car and once up a hill).
It all felt like a nice little ride really, I did have a dodgy moment where I miss judged the angle of a junction and had to slow down when I pulled out which didn't give the examiner chance to follow straight away. I got a minor for that as it was poor planning. I also got a minor for breaking in a corner on a national speed limit road which was pretty fair as it did catch me out a bit, I could have just leant in more but I didn't want to look like I was booting it.
So thats it passed with 2 minors.
Seems that falling off my bike 30 minutes before my test was just good luck!!*
*please note I don't advise falling off your bike for any reason, even if it helps pass your test

. Have you done your MOD2 yet? It's so much easier than MOD1As you say, its a case of trying to relax! Then its easy! -
-
. Amenhehe, you got bitten...go for it , you'll never regret it -
Excellent. Congratulations

. I agree 100%. Imagine riding with instructor giving you directions. There's nothing you haven't done alreadyIf you're doing your mod2 then I assume you've been riding a while. Forget you're being tested and just enjoy the ride. You know what to do so just do it. (Sounds like a good slogan for a sportswear company ) -
My retested were test fee plus 2 or 2.5 hours £60-75 + DSA fee

. My first geared bike was an AJS Regal Raptor. A good little workhorse and I'll be sorry to see her go. Ive got an ER5 now. Don't knock them. I commuted through Central London in all weathers on my Chinese bike. No troubleDon't buy chinese =D -
. Fab news. Great feeling isn't it?
good luckGot my Mod 2 in Wolverhampton tomorrow at 5 to 11. And what have we got coming in from the Atlantic? Yep, a bloody hurricane! Oh joyHurray!! Passed with 5 minors. Very windy ride and some debris flying around the side streets. Asked me about carrying pillion, how to check oil and horn. Pulled into the curb 4 times one of which was the angled pull away round a parked car. Did the hill start on a really gently slope, which can hardly be classed as a hill start. Couple of dual carriageways and left/right turns at big roundabouts, then back to the test center. Had the debrief with instructor in the room and when he said "well done, it's a pass" it was a competition as to who had the biggest grin. Had another guy from our school taking his Mod 2 aswell who came back in as I was being debriefed. He passed aswell, so 2 for 2. Happy day

. Before. I got pillion passenger and testing front brakes. Easy peasyHey guys weather looks to be good for my Friday mod 2.Question for those who have done their mod 2... will the instructor ask any questions before we go out?? Bike related or highway code related ?

I'm trying to get a MOD 2 cancellation for this week. Nothing before the 20th at the moment
-
. Same for me with MOD1 yesterday although weather relented and I passed. All the MOD2s were cancelledWent for my MOD 2 yesterday, had a 2 hour lesson before with rain and wind, got to test center and as we got off the bikes we were nearly blown over by the wind! It was cancelled! Gutted have to hope for a cancellation as next booking not available till end of October! -
. Excellent. Congratulations. Almost there nowPassed without any minors. Friday 17th mod 2 wooo -
. Suck Rescue Remedy pastilles, breathe, take each item one at a time and try to forget it's a test as you've done it all with the schoolOk so I have my mod 1 tomorow any tips on nerves haha. -
I passed MOD1 today at Burgess Hill. It was flooded out so they were on the verge of cancelling. I had a minor for stalling as I started the slow ride (I sneezed!) and a quick dab as I stopped after the U turn. 52kph and 60kph for speed tests. Such a relief MOD2 ASAP
