yh, the simpson isnt road legal in uk , that would be top of my list to be honest. anybody know of anything else that look similar to al 3 helmets?
-
hey guys, ive been looking into getting a new helmet and the top candidates at the moment are the Boxer Roof and the Shark Raw. I like the Roof's functionality but think the price tag is quite high, and i love the Shark's price tag + look but think the rubber mouth guard is a small put off. In general, the styles of these helmets are quite aggressive and i just wanted to know if there are any similar looking lids. I wouldnt mind if there was a full face one that looked as aggressive because the look is more important than functionality for me but please a list of at least 20 if possible? Cheers all. Also the max price i would consider is £300 as that is the price for the Roof.

The immediate question is, do you intend to ride this bike on a CBT?.......coz upping the capacity to 180cc will invalidate your license and insurance.......and the performance gains will be minimal......
18 but im just enquiring

Im looking to add something new to my bike, I already have the arrow full system and have been looking into the 180cc kit for it but honestly I have no clue about it, what it changes specifically, and what i should realistically pay for it. If anyone can help that would be sweet.

Thanks all, im probably gonna go for textiles with armor as suggested or try and find a decent SM leather suit
Very helpful guys !

I am currently looking for some protective clothing for myself, I have bits and bobs but i want to get something that looks good and does the protective job well. I understand that the road doesnt care how good you look when your scraping across it but at the moment leathers are looking to be a very expensive option. Is there any clothing that would look more suited to SM riding whilst helping with protection.

It won't make any difference to the performance it's purely for cosmetic reasons. If you have the full system the downpipe is actually smaller than the standard one so it actually restricts the bikes top speed slightly but increases the throttle response. If you need to email/ring Arrow and get the specifics.
Ps if you have the full system keep an eye on your oil it tends to disappear without you realising.
Great, thanks alot for that m8 hopefully i'll be on the road louder than ever asap !

Hi to all,
I have a Yamaha 125WRx 2011 reg with stock exhaust. I have the arrow exhaust to add and to not risk it im going to declare it to my insurance. However they have been asking for very precise details on the changes it may make which honestly I dont know. If anybody does know could they list them or some for me please, will be very appreciated.
Cheers Guys.
Overtaking on a 125cc

I drive a WR125x and i overtake all the time. you have to plan your overtake quite a while before you do it and like said above youll need to do it in a clean swoop. also , yes drop a gear and get the engine speaking then up again for the overtake. its all about weighing up potential hazards because the road changes every second your driving.
