could be head gasket. is it air or water cooled? you haven't put diesel in it by mistake have you? very difficult to diagnose without seeing/hearing etc.

It's a new meet, this year I think, just trying to cash in on petrel's success IMO. Bradford arms on mon or petrel on thurs much better bet. I don't get chance now because of starting work earlier

hello stein, i spent some time in norway, while i was in the army, near bergen, is everything still really expensive compared to the uk? it's not somewhere i'd have thought of going on a bike holiday, too cold!, the scenery is certainly good though.

ok people, any one needs directions, wants to meet up on the way and be shown the way etc. just ask they are both big meets so finding each other can be a pain! I will be wearing forum fleece, forum t shirt if i've got it by then, and my mobile number is in contacts section. Don't be shy!! I am on holiday that week 8) so can meet people easily. anyone wanting to meet in telford, have a coffee etc. and ride in is welcome. can even offer floor space for sleeping if anyone wants to come from farther away think susie coming to bp, maybe not petrel.

I propose to meet anyone who wants to either at bassets pole on tues 29 july or stormy petrel on thurs 31 july, could even do both if enough interest. I will meet people on the way to either if required. this is primarily for people who haven't done this sort of thing before but all welcome, the more the merrier looking at 7pm at both but am flexible.

i'm really not sure, i've voted no. Can't imagine myself riding one but if I did and the law said I didn't have to wear helmet, I probably wouldn't or at least not all the time.

i have same problem, permanent nights, i used to start at 2200, so went to meets on the way to work, now start at 2100 so not worth it.

There's quite a few meets around here gary, BP is probably the biggest, look in this section for details if you struggle in the week, quatt cafe on a sunday is pretty busy.
