  7. well my dad bought a shark SX1 rookie the other day and i like the look of it. His is the black shiney one (see below). You can also get a blue matt look one (see below). The black (with black goggles) looks mean and looks nice. the blue will go with my bike and jacket, but the scratches come out more and it doesnt look as "evil lol. but which one shall i go for??? if i get the blue one, what colour goggles shall i get? Blue - https://www.teammoto.com.au/onlineshop/ ... &Itemid=16 Black - http://www.bici.co.uk/p/323459/shark-sx ... shiny.html
  8. Erm dono where near me sells that helmet, but i got my head measurements. Bikes going ok, hav a look here http://www.themotorbikeforum.co.uk/view ... 6&start=60
  9. if you throttle back whilst on choke you will supply too much fuel at the wrong mix and therefore nearly, or actually flood the engine, take it gently on choke then take it off choke once warm enough, i tend to go about 300 yards on choke before knocking it off... the choke will give you enough to pull away from the lights so there's no need to rev it.. ok thanks. its a bit hard to turn the choke off whilst i have my gloves on/going along as it is right underneath the seat. It seems to be ok as it is a bit warmer weather now, but I think i have got the hang of it thanks
  10. lol ahha. I like the blue one....i am mad about blue lol! Me thinks me will get it
  11. OMG! What a coincidence! Mine was £85 with my bike. That helmet looks quite nice! I found some plain Oakley goggles for £21 which i may get with that helmet. I may be able to claim the new helmet from the lady who hit me, insurers, as my helmet got damaged in the crash. lol what about this: http://www.ridemx.co.uk/MotoCross/Shop/ ... elmet.html on a serious note...i like this! http://www.ridemx.co.uk/MotoCross/Shop/ ... elmet.html

  13. I currently have this: http://www.bigbikebook.com/14283/AIROH- ... er=froogle but its had a few donks etc and i want a better looking helmet (white and blue maybe) with goggles I was looking to spend about £70+ for helmet and £30 for goggles, (maybe 2008 models?) Anyone got any ideas Also was looking at a clear set and/tinted set of goggles....maybe pinlock ones? Cheers Sam
  14. Basically, My bike has a choke. The choke is on the carb. In the cold, I switch it on, start it up and leave it for a bit. Sometimes when i switch the choke off and go to rev it, the engine doesnt repsond and sounds like it is flooding, but it shouldnt. This sometimes happens at the lights, i get no throttle repsonse. After the bike has warmed up tho it works fine. Anyone know what could be the problem?
  15. sorry for late reply but, guess what i got for crimbo.....a polar buff! it is so nice to feel and is warm! thanks
  16. hmm yea. was wondering if there is a kinda motorcross jersey jacket lol
  17. Hi there, I currently have an old mtoorbike jacket, and to go with my blue and white scrambler, i want a warm winterproof motocross jersey or jacket. I was wondering if there are any out there. Not looking to spend a big amount of money £20-50 maybe thanks

I used to even have a Jonny Bravo Buff buff *Found one* http://www.bandanashop.com/productdesc.asp?id=153&PL=buffwear.asp&cat=9 *and another* http://www.bandanashop.com/productdesc.asp?id=1795&PL=buffwear.asp&cat=9 *and another* http://www.bandanashop.com/productdesc.asp?id=1417&PL=buffwear.asp&cat=9 thanks. i rather get a cheaper one tho
  19. yeh these two are as showed in ride magazine
  20. thanks i dont really like buffs tho as they dont do camo
  21. looking for a buff. Looked at the ride magazine and they looked at various ones. I have picked two out of the list which i like. The I-NEK Summer ( http://www.inter-bike.co.uk/inter-bikes ... name=i-NEK%Summer%Neck%Warmer%%-Urban%CAmo ) and Oxford Comfy (http://www.oxprod.com/index.php?pg=3&ac ... pid=160&p=) the one on the left in the picture . I dont know which one to get. The I-NEK is cheaper than the comfy but the comfy comes with 3 buffs which i dont think i really need. I like the camo ones not the ordinary black ones I also spotted the I-NEK Winter ( http://www.inter-bike.co.uk/inter-bikes ... name=i-NEK%Winter%Neck%Warmer%with%Thin%Over%Head%Section%-%Urban%CAmo ) but wondered if was much different (apart from the price? Advice please Thanks!
