hi guys, I have sat nav on my phone. I was wondering, should i get a phone holder and stick it on my rev meter? or how else can i mount it? I tried putting it in my pocket but i like to see where i am going and not listening for instructions. I am a bit wary about mounting it on my bike as its visible for other people when i am at traffic lights etc Thanks

No I havnt. I drained all the fuel, added new fuel and petrol additives. I might get a new spark plug as that could be another reason and also clean out the carb

It has done it again!!!! I was doing 40, stopped at traffic lights,then got up to 40 then suddenly the engine started slowing and cut out. Wouldn't start so had to walk it round the corner to my house. It has got about a 5th of a tank left, not much so could be the old fuel it doesnt like or somethings clogged up

Hi guys, I just got my dna on the road (woohooo) and have had a problem with it. Background of the bike: It hasnt been ridden on the road since Sept 2007. The same petrol has been in there until i tried to run it down as far as i could and topped it up with fresh fuel. It has done 3000 miles Problem: When i build up revs and speed, (normally 40mph and 8000 revs) the engine sometimes (not all the time) dies and the revs will suddenly drop to about 5000 and my bike will go to 20mph even at full throttle. So i pull to the side of the road and as soon as i stop the engine cuts out. I got to start my DNA up again and it wont start. I have to give it about 3 minutes then start it and it seems to be fine. I thought it could be fuel but the old fuel should have been used by now. Anyone got an idea of whats wrong?? Thanks in advance Sam 8)
