  1. The two problems I have with Foggy are his lips. They keep moving. But really I would have more respect for him if he had more respect for others. It would have helped if he had done something on the Honda too. I am old enough to have to admit to being a fan of Haslam the elder and if he had had Foggies opportunities he would have been a greater rider. There was a lot of class around in the seventies who were not called Sheen. For me the greatest rider of all was Yer maun but the greatest rider ever is Rossi.
  2. He lost the plot with the occasion. Just tried too hard. sad for him but he'll be back... one thing he does well is learn from mistakes. New tyre in qualifying needed a lap to scrub in he must have known it was a risk because he didn't have time to do it properly, cold tyre in the race needed a few bends to warm up let his balls rule his head. Scott Redding is the new Brit 125 "sensation", seems to have more too him then Bradders. It will be interesting to see if Bradley will let Scott Redding's success psyche him out now. Roger Burnett is playing a very canny game marketing JT, all his merchandise is a bit cheaper then everyone else, gave away a few flags and stuff. Can't see JT ever been more then another Colin Edwards though, a few podiums and always trying too catch up the top four riders. Having said that I reckon he's a better Brit racer then that Lancastrian Gob Sheeite Foggy.
  3. errr might be a bit before my time No he wasn't.
  4. You mean like Bruce Springsteen.

  13. You could say that with modern bikes and the internet, living in a small place like the UK everywhere is local. The bigger problem isn't distance it's attitude to distance.

    Came off today...

Glad your ok Luke. Sorry about the bike, it'll mend though. Check your tyre pressures mate, your rear shouldn't be doing that. Tyre pressure is a good place to start.
  15. My reason wasn't there either! So I just put the meeting thing! I saw your sticker on a mates visor and asked him what it was and if it was worth a visit.........here I am! My other buds probably chose not to mention it for fear of me bugging the hell out of them like I do on other forums!!! Yes but ... the reason you belong to this forum must be more then you saw an ad or your mate told you about it. There is a reason you like this forum
  16. Are most people heading home on the Tuesday?
  17. C'mon guys, this thread is to give newbies an idea of where the sites coming from, there are plenty of other threads for us to let our daft out.
  18. You forgot to mention learning all about Pin Locks.
  19. Stop being so bloddy pedantic or i'll...... insert your own nightmare.
  20. Vicky said... Hmmm I hoped this place was a lil different to other forums, that was certainly our intention when we created it..... and I think on the whole people respect each others differences and dont use it as a place to have a pop at people hiding behind theyre keyboards. I could seriously point you to a couple of forums which you would not believe...... one I got banned from for being an 'attention seeking whore' their exact words. They swear, they verbally abuse people and these are grown adults. This left me crying, so upset and having to take time off the net. Such a negative effect on me, thats why me and stu created this place. If people dont post when they join or just post once....does it really matter? Theres a 101 reasons why...drop them an email and ask Its a fine line between been seen as a big family or a clique... and it depends on the newbie whether they take the plunge and get involved or not. Dont think we do so bad
  21. Why not? He and Vicki started it so coudnt join as such Yeah but, yeah but they could still say why they wanted something else.
  22. Jota..... i really didnt know that! Wow am touched SRAD.... I have more sense! Dunno where to vote either...... just write why you wanted this site then, and explain what was missing to inspire you and stu to get this lot together. i reckon this thread should be sticky to give newbies an idea of why they are here and what is offered. And what others get out of it. 8)
  23. Why not?
