  1. First contact came from mm

    Rossi never kicked out.

Mm layed the bike onto him to try and make the corner.

Watch rossis forks get to the top of their travel because hes on the power.he recons because mm hit his leg it came off the peg.

    Im no rossi fan.

From the race director after investigating the incident with far more camera angles than we get, part of his explanation for the penalty.

“Despite what Marquez said we think he was deliberately trying to affect the pace of Valentino. However he didn't actually break any rules. Whatever we think about the spirit of the championship, according to the rule book he didn't make contact. His passes were clean. He rode within the rules."

  2. I have a pair of the new Altberg Road Runners, beautifully made and 100% waterproof, I expect they last as long as I do.

I'll be able to get them re-soled or repaired whenever required.

I also have a pair of Altbergs from years ago, they have had new soles and a new gear lever patch on them this year and they're now better than new.

You really can't beat them for quality, longevity and after service.

  3. He's not given us the £150 deposit back yet ... but we gave him 14 days to return it or police will be called. He got a bit spooked by the thought of police. I suspect something dodgy with his business.

There is one other place near me but they are twice the price. £650 estimated quote - final figure can't be given until job is done! That worries me.

Unfortunately, the police won't be interested in your owed money, it's a civil matter.

Next stage is to make it official and send him a letter before action, here's a sample

  4. As above really

Don't listen to anyone telling you to start it up periodically or any of that nonsense, put it on a smart charger if you can, if not, give it a normal charge every couple of weeks.

Make sure you give the chain a good wipe around with an oily rag if you keep the side plates clean normally, it doesn't take much to rust them.

  5. I replaced with a Motobatt earlier this year as my old one, still OK, but was losing charge if left more than a few days.

It's hard to compare with another brand as I didn't try an equally new different one but it's never missed a beat and the cranking speed on the starter button is leagues ahead of the old one.
